These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of genxinnovations.io (the “site”), operated by GenX Innovations Inc (“GenX,” “we,” “us”), a Delaware corporation based in the Woodlawn Community of Chicago, Illinois. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the site is
The site is a general information page about GenX and ways to support our work. Descriptions are high-level on purpose: details of our inventions are confidential and are not published here. Statements about plans, timelines, or future products are goals, not promises or guarantees.
2. No securities
GenX Innovations Inc. does not offer or sell securities on this website.
3. Kickstarter
Our planned Kickstarter campaign is rewards-based and all-or-nothing: backers are charged only if the campaign reaches its goal, and pledges are subject to Kickstarter’s Terms of Use. Our campaign is not live yet. Reward descriptions, quantities, and estimated delivery dates shown on this site are previews and may change before launch. Kickstarter pledges are not tax-deductible.
We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites we link to.
4. Rewards
We will make a good-faith effort to deliver rewards as described. Rewards are thank-you items and experiences only — rewards only, no equity, no profit share.
5. Unsolicited ideas and confidential information
Please do not send us invention ideas, proposals, or confidential information through the site or by email unless we have agreed in writing to receive them (for example under an NDA). Unsolicited submissions are not treated as confidential, and sending one does not create any obligation or relationship between you and GenX.
6. Our content
The text, graphics, logos, and other content on the site belong to GenX Innovations Inc or its licensors. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not copy, modify, or reuse our logos or content for other purposes without our written permission.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site. For example, do not try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, send spam or malicious code through its forms, scrape it in bulk, or use it to impersonate GenX or anyone else.
8. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the site or its content, including that it will be error-free or always available.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, GenX Innovations Inc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
